    ...and wearing a swimming costume?

The one on Massdrop isn't TKL. Yours is, isn't it Ducky?

Ended up getting a QPAD MK-85 Pro, cherry MX reds. Must say I am massively impressed. This is my first MK and I love the feeling you get when typing. Not had a chance to try any games yet but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I'm still pretty sure I want the TK version as I do work from home on occasion. Or I could get a numpad...

Just a minor colour upgrade, seems to have taken me quite some time to like it: (Unicomp forgot to pack the keys with the keyboard so they got delivered separately)

You've probably posted a link before, but I'm being lazy. What's the numpad that you've got?

    Ta :)

It's official. The HHKB is everything I've ever wanted from a keyboard. When I said I found it easier to touch type on a domes board than blues. This has solved that problem. It's the perfect feel I've never had from any MX switch. The solid case proves everything I hare about my Poker. I just can't see myself ever going back to one.

Being the PCB board in a thin case that it is, it felt mushy no matter what the switch and resting my hands near the case was a nightmare. The HHKB has really made me realise this and I can never see myself using anything else.

I've been using it for about 10 minutes after getting home from college after my first day and it's already the best thing ever. :D It's a stunning board and Topre has really taken hold of me very quickly.

My only gripes are the passable things like getting used to blank caps again which I have done very quickly, but still make a few mistakes. My touch typing is slowly improving and I'll obviously need to get used to this new layout.

Now I have the problem of selling other keyboard stuff to buy it. I need a travel board but I think at this point I'll be wanting more than one HHKB.

    HELP ME!

Uh oh... Makes me want to try one even more! Still couldn't imagine gaming on anything other than reds and massively prefer the customisability of MX but topper does intrigue me like no other board right now...

Oh and if you'd ever typed on a poker in an alu case you'd reconsider I promise!

What I love about the HHKB case is that there are some solid areas where there are less bottom row keys. No Poker case has this. :)

Say what? That Topre is better? The Poker now feels vastly inferior? All these things are true.

Could you please PM me with what you want in cash or anything you want at all in trade please?

*Funnily enough though, all my MX switches still feel a lot less mushy. But there's just something about this board that makes it better.

I think that Topre just feels like a properly designed switch.

So do MX switches. I'll never let that go. :D I hate to say Topre still feels 1% mushy compared to my browns and reds, but it's SO EPIC FOR REASONS I HAVE NO IDEA.

Each to their own, maybe if I used a topre for a decent length of time, but it certainly wasn't instantly 'wow' for me :p

I liked Topre, and if I was a regular typist then I might consider splashing out. But Topre has no more place in a mechanical keyboard thread than rubber domes. Just adding a spring to the design doesn't cut it. I like the industrial feel with my mechanicals :D
