Most space exploration/RPG games I've played in the last 10 years, if there is mining, I usually tend to get sucked into that and stick with it. EVE, Ogame, X2... I always just ended up as a miner trying to accumulate wealth. They really do seem to have gone all-out in terms of content in this, so I will certainly be keeping an eye on it.
Hi big fan of the X series.i do understand all the problems that everyone complains about it being so hard to get in to. I remember the first few months well. (Hell) Can see why so many people just throw in the towel. I've already pre-ordered it and I hope a lot of the people purchase as well because I would love the games to continue and get better. For all the X fans out there. Get on the big tech mumble.

Me too... been a long wait for this game 7 long years.... but its always the last few days that hurt the most
i was really excited about this, but i might have to leave it 'til christmas with all the other stuff that's come out recently.
There's so much to look forward to in this new game, I can't decide what career path I want to go down this time... I often start off playing as a war veteran and then retire into a trade career somewhere down the line, but am considering starting off with the economy on this one. There's only one bit I don't agree with on that video and that's their comment about piloting capital ships not being fun, I really enjoyed slow-boating across the universe in the previous games. While I'd love to have a big ship back, I can see why they'd remove that feature with the new ability to walk around your ships & speak with the crew members. Having to constantly stroll from the cockpit to a bay somewhere on the other side of a colossal ship would certainly irritate a lot of people.
In the past I've always played the good mercenary role, using my money to set up a few universe traders. Eventually I'd gather up enough cash to purchase a fully decked out M2 with luxury fittings and spend the rest of my days cruising around living the easy life. Think I'll do the same! I wholeheartedly agree! Having acquired the M2 mentioned above, I would from time to time enjoying shouting 'RAMMING SPEED!' and crash into something suitably big. We'll see how things work out.
I've got something to admit I used to get quite bored and flying M1M 2M7 and six because of their speed are used to actually cheat to speed up M6. And when that happened I can just lost interest because cheating just makes it not fun. And also Who is to say that in the future they wouldn't be out to make a drone let's say and M1 or M2 drone tipe ship. I hope the drones in the scheme make it a lot more appealing
