    The Boxtrolls 6/10

    Great details, great animation.
Maybe it loses a lot in the german translation, maybe it's just a tad too un-tim-burton, I don't know.
It was definetely not enough story to fill the film, which is strange in a stop motion where every minute is extremely laborious.
Maybe I need to watch it again, with the original voices, and look for more great details.

    The Judge 7/10
I like seeing RDJ act outside of the Avengers films, feel good film.

The Fault in our Stars 8/10
Managed to avoid watching until I was on a date! Would have been in tears if it wasn't a date!

    The Equalizer 5/10
Nothing amazing but if you like Denzel kicking ass, watch it

    The Other Woman 6/10

Hmmm, not really bad, story has been told a million times before though and the emphasis of the movie is more on how the "girls" get to know eachother and not the "hilarious revenge" on evil Hubbie.
Could have been much funnier, another case of bad script and directing once again.

Somehow typical for Cameron Diaz, though it is nice to see she can now combine a grownup face with a great body.

I kept thinking the "Hubbie" was one of the ..mir running endlessly through Middleearth, but he's not, he's the evil guy from Game of Thrones, oh well.

Run all Night... Meandering... Why they over-did "Google-Earth-Fincher-Cam" is beyond me... And how many gears does Neesons car have?!

    The Voices 7/10

Not what I expected at all, and in my opinion Ryan Reynolds best role to date, Bosco and Mr Whiskers make the film though.

    God Bless America - 7/10

Very black humour, I found myself laughing at bits of and then thinking why am I laughing, that's horrific. Especially since there have been similar real life incidents in the US.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who have said/thought "if I had a gun I'd start shooting people who (insert irritation point of choice here), that really annoys me!" but I don't pass the tipping point and go on a killing spree.

I'm just glad that I don't live in a country where guns are freely available.

    Guardians of the Galaxy 9/10

a bit predictable and a very generic bad guy, but all in all a hilarious, well-paced film.
    Looking forward to see more.

I may need to aquire the soundtrack

Literally the first thing I did when I came home after watching it. Amazon -> buy -> download -> listen. At 1am (I only have time for late shows with my job etc).

    Focus: 8/10 Clever plotline
The Judge: 7/10 RDJ playing a usual RDJ roles (attitude)
Whiplash: 6.5/10 Seen on plane to Aruba. This movie is quite comical when half the script is censored due to all the cursing.

    Restless Natives (1985) 9/10 (Soundtrack 10/10)

Brilliant British film with Big Country providing the soundtrack. Watched it several times over the years.

Godzilla (2014) 0/10 Two hours of my life wasted on this drivel. I cannot think of anything good to say about the cliché riddled film.

As I've said earlier in this thread I went to see it and didn't actually hate it. Then again it did go some way to helping me get laid so I'm biased.

    Not a movie but -

    Thunderbirds are Go! [2015 Series] - 5! , 4! , 3! , 2! , 1!/10

CG'd reboot of Thunderbirds... There as some good elements, but they are by far eclipsed by the many many cringe-worthy bad bits... If you had fond memories of the original, I wouldn't bother with this...

    Furious 7 aka Fast & The Furious 7 7/10

Entertaining. Typical of the series since 3-> focusing more on explosions than the cars.

Not ashamed to say I cried for the tribute to Paul at the end.

    Detective Byomkesh Bakshy - 8/10

I normally don't watch Bollywood movies, because my Hindi is crap and they're usually pretty bad anyway, but I grew up reading English translations of Byomkesh babu's exploits, so I was quite keen to see them translated to film.

A friend of mine works in the industry and said the movie had picked up some serious buzz. I checked out the trailer and felt it was a worth a punt - boy was I right! Very pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. I kept waiting for it to go to **** but it never did. NO ****ING SONG-AND-DANCE SEQUENCES!

And it's set up for a sequel, so that's nice.

    Trailer for the curious:
