    <- Puts on tinfoil hat:

Bit-tech forum went down for maintenance hours later, this happened:

How much did Valve pay to have bit-tech send us into temporary exile? :p

I've done ok so far, only bought Firewatch and Air/Land/Sea DLC for Just Cause 3.

Trying to limit my purchases till I've got through some of the new games I'm already playing, :D

Yeah I got Hitman. It's good to see it back to the gameplay that made it so popular, though a shame it's episodic and has no real narrative.

Bought more on GoG (pretty space games and an insult simulator) on the assumption Steam would keep trend with the past few years and not go lower, which was proven correct.

I have found the Steam Summer sale to be a great disappointment. I have bought 8 games and refunded 6 and to be honest the two that I kept were a mistake.
At these sale times I try to support the indie game makers and over the years have found some gems. Not so this year.

    First one is boring
Second one is in nearly everyone's top 2 but has erratic AI
    Contracts is filler but decent
Blood Money is a milestone in gaming history
Absolution is 7/10 but moves away from the gameplay that made it great
2016 is return to form but episodic with no real story and just 5 missions.

im really looking at the episodic. ive played the first 4 and loved all of them, but somehow Absolution kinda turns me off with the "eazy mode glow in the dark stuff".

is the episodic worth the money?

I've not really seen anything on the steam sale that i'd consider bargainlicious. I did pick up dungeon of the endless and am enjoying that quite a bit.

I don't know how you value money or game content. 2016 has the same ability to see stuff glow, but as in Absolution it's optional as a button you press.

Holy hell that's a lot cheaper than the Steam price! They're listing it at €40!
