Hey guys hoping all is well, the titan is coming along slowly, but awaiting some bits n bobs for it, but in the mean time looking into another project i am trying to light up a model any one good with electronics ? scary i studied it at school but in the 20+ years since i left its all gone, Below is the circuit i designed to fit the model but i am starting to rethink it that i might have to go from 3 leds in a row to 2, due to the limitations of the Battery, Any help would be greatly appreciated
Yup, you'd be best off dropping those strings of 3 down to 2, giving a forward voltage per string of either 3.3 or 6.6 v. 2 x blue LEDs should be more than bright enough for most model scale things. For the dual LED strings, you'd need a 120 Ohm resistor in line and for the single LED runs, a 270 or 330 Ohm (bang on value would be 285).

Not really a tabletop matter, but it certainly is related... I may have set in motion the final things to purchase an original piece of artwork from Mark Gibbons
Very cool. When I worked there I had so many opportunities to get original sketches and doodles. Never got any though, I really wish I had.
Small update to the Titan decided to give some upper leg detail markings ( ignore the piss poor paintjob ) Also finishing up on a 27 hour long Upperbody print, the Mk3, with the 'shoulders' and rear vents already modelled on so i dont have to print them separately and it saves a little plastic, also pre-modelled magnet holes for the arm options, i just keep tinkering with the design, this is alredy the third upper, with a visible improvement across the liniage, the Mk 1.5 still have visible print lines and was printed before i had the printer dialed in, the Mk2 is a massive improvement on the Mk1.5 is slightly larger and cleaner, then the newest is the Mk3 with pre-modelled parts Next i might move ( back ) onto the shin guards, im already on mk8 or so
Also to add, due to Scaling issues the Lucius pattern warlord project has been shelved, possibly indefinitely, but on the other hand, someone posted a high poly model of something else that caught my eye will post more images as time passes as a sort of project log here
Finally managed to get my Ender 3 built up, first prints were a few printer upgrades (filament guides, clips etc). Decided the best way to test out the print quality was an 8mm/Adeptus scale 'warhound'. 12 1/2 hours later! It's not perfect but considering the scale (stands 70mm tall) I'm more than happy with it. A little bit of cleaning/sanding and it'll be fine for games at home.
^^^ You could almost say its Epic 40k ( Puns,,, i have them ) also my Titan(s) are bigger the Ender 3 is a great printer, likely the best fdm printer for the money right now if it wasnt for FDM slowly getting encroched by DLP / SLA i would consider upgrading my Wanhao to one
It would definitely have been quicker/better to print it out on the photon, but I'm waiting on my second replacement LCD for that! The first one just died, the second decided to only die on half the screen so I can still use it but only for half of the screen. Hopefully, the 3rd one will last longer than a month!
yeah ive head the photon has issues with the screen, didnt realise they were quite THAT bad though... also HALP she is growing !!!
