Currently if the page content is anything other than - '¯\_(ツ)_/¯, **** knows.', it's inaccurate advice.

I'm surprised it's not just an x404 page.

So they want a vote on part of the package but the WA is all of the component parts. Tories just scrambling, it's smoke and mirrors crap.

They want MPs to pass the Withdrawal segment [to tentatively meet the EU's condition for one of the proposed extensions] but without even the vaguest hint as to -

    what would come next
what the preferred future relations with the EU would be
who would be negotiating it [other than 'it won't be May']

I thought the agreement with the EU depends on the whole 'deal' being passed, not just the legally binding aspect?

Will the EU even consider that as fulfilling this even it were to pass?

If I were in the EU camp dealing with this i'd be frickin irate.

Well, they messed up --they didn't manage to change the worldline. My Divergence meter still reads 0.409031...

Theresa May: Maybe if I try and get them to vote it through one word at a time...

DUP: Up yours you scuttin' dryshite wagon.

I think the EU is irate. The government is doing it's level best to burn every bridge at once.

The EU is already talking about conditions for any negotiations following a no-deal crash-out. And guess what? As Sir Ivan Rogers predicted, they're exactly the same as the WA.

So the UK crashes out, there is an economic crunch, the UK sidles back up to the EU to come to a "reasonable" FTA "that surely is in everybody's interest", and the EU says: "£39 billion please, and guarantee EU immigrant rights, and sign up to the backstop". And the UK, having already played its final card of "walking away" and under pressure of the economic consequences of that, has even less negotiating leverage and even less goodwill from the EU side. Brilliant strategy.

It's inspired, if you think about it.

That way they get to blame the EU twice!

I'm still holding out for a referendum on a specific option (ie the 'deal' as some Brexiteers are backing this now) vs Remain.

The demographic changes, some of the 20%+ that didn't vote take part and hopefully an awakening to the reality will kick in in the result.
