Even Man of Beige [Henry Cavill] would be better than the miniature space cadet.

Henry Cavill could be slouched over a smelly piss-stained sofa wearing jogging trousers and a ratty old hoodie, and he'd still be one of the sexiest men ever to have lived

A quick google says he played superman, he looks about right, although I'd sooner Wolverine than superman.

Sexy is a stretch, in my humble opinion, but he can build a computer - that makes him worthy of consideration for the PCMR at the very least.

My opinion of tiny tom is such that, imo, Bill Bailey would make a better... anything... than he would.

Cobrai Kai season 3 badass/10 didnt think last ep of season 2 could have been topped but december 19 was great. cant wait for Thomas I griffin to show up.

HIS Dark Materials Season 2 8/10 much better adaption than that crap heap off movie that came out. shame we will never get ep8 which was meant to be a standalone lord asreil episode.

Ava - That story has been done to death/10

Yeah, don't watch if you want something original.

Better than having the news channel on though.

The Good Dinosaur - Prehistoric entertainment featuring a hapless dinosaur/10

Enjoyed it. Particularly enjoyed the small child pal the dinosaur acquires. Not high brow, not serious :)

    Kaleidoscope (2016) 9/10

I watch few films, not really into them and even fewer all the way through, without either falling asleep or wandering off to the PC but, this kept me watching to the end. Toby Jones outstanding again.

Wild Target (5.5/10) the 2010 remake of a 1993 film (Cible émouvante) with Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt and Rupert Grint.

The format felt out of the 60s: aging heirless hitman bowled over by exuberant ingenue; hilarity ensues. The comedy was alright I guess, probably just me but the 34 year age gap between Nighy and Blunt jarred a little.

Heroic Losers (2019) (La odisea de los giles) - 7/10

A bit long, not overly original, but entertaining with nice characters and well played.

    Mortal Engines - 7/10
It was a reasonable easy watch action flick. Not sure i'd bother rewatching, but i am tempted to pick up the book series; which i wholly suspect the film sh*t all over...

    Thank F for Retrovirals / 10
Watched all 5 episodes of Russell T Davis' It's a Sin over the weekend.
A beautifully filmed and crafted (albeit harrowing) view of the 1980s through the prism of a group of gay men and the inevitable and tragic devastation of HIV / AIDS sweeping through the community.

Interesting to see Keeley Hawes in a non smiley and jolly role.
Plenty of well known actors in the older generation, the guy who played Billy Elliot's Dad and Stephen Fry for example.

    The Dig

Solid drama about the Sutton Hoo horde with a Lily James vehicle tacked on in the form of a romance story nobody asked for.

I know it's not a movie but the production values alone made me forget it WASN'T a movie... Wandavision is really good!
I was almost put off of watching it from the first episode as the fifties camp schtick and canned laughter was an immediate turn-off but I persevered and glad that I did... when she
rewound and edited what she didn't like
, I thought 'this might get a little dark' and now on episode 4, I'm hooked!
