    Sega Astro City Mini.

    upload_2021-8-18_14-53-4.png

Bigger than you think, solidly built, good performance, but it would have been nice if they could have found a 4:3 display panel. The CRT mode is just basic scanlines, too, and it's micro-USB rather than Type-C for power.

Damn you Gareth. Are they full-size Sanwa buttons, or 24mm ones?

In that case, maybe you shouldn't look at Costco's website this week either.

Dinky-tiny ickle 15mm ones - it's a Mini, after all, designed to sit on your desk. Decent click, tho'. The joystick's microswitched, too, instead of the bizarre analogue thing they put on the Neo-Geo Mini. HDMI output, but you'll probably want the optional gamepads or the full-size arcade stick (which costs as much as the whole damn thing, annoyingly) if you're using that.

From experience I can say that the ShoeBox S gets pretty warm, so just make sure to have the ventilation with some breathing space around it.

Got to love the logic of builders. Is that a well? Yep, lets just build straight over it and hide the issue! Sorry you have to foot the bill to fill it in now.

The original builders had built a cool little arch over it and we have plenty of rubble from the digging of new foundations. Not a big thing in the grand scheme of things.

I am looking at this exact one. I have it on my amazon wish list waiting to see if it ever drops in price. Mind letting me know what you think after you have had a few weeks to play with it?

    There was an event.

    R5 5600
32gb in 2 sticks for the B450 board
480gb SSD for the 'replacement' ESX server.

Which leaves me with one mostly complete other PC. Not really sure what to do with it though.
