Very nice Pil....have to say this is what I imagined a HL case to look like...all the others touched it w/ the green lighting and such..but this...for lack of a better sentance..."Takes the cake"

    Keep it up man... :thumb:

(I'm w/ you on the whole frosted face thing...what exactly does it mean <shrug>)

    I second this Idea.

(sorry if this is starting to sound like a commitee, lol :D )

you can cut holes in it to let your HSF, expansion cards, and RAM poke through.

then scorch and rust it up some.

Today I spend a bit of my time by full in the watercooling system with green toxic uv die :D and solder some wires to see how the case looks with some discret lightning :)

I must say that it is only to test and that the lights aren't on their good places yet , it is just to show you the color contrast vs the rust

That is looking so good... yah...

So how are you keeping all the liquid in the system or are the water blocks in the same place as usual?

    Once again wonderful case!

First of all : Unbelievable great work (probably sed that already)

For lighting.. well.. I have a suggestion, its not the regular case lightning (leds, neon, etc..)

but how about a normal lightbulb, but one of those old one's.. u know, the really 'dove' yellow one's..

the white bulbs, wich when on, are really 'duffy' yellow..

U know what I mean, the old one's, None of those white new stuff..

    that would look great !

I'm sure u can find one somewhere, or else in a special lighting store, they probably have 'special light bulbs' that give that effect... :wallbash:

    just an idea though

Taking the above idea a step farther - what about the magnesium 'flicker' bulbs??? Fairly low-voltage, and should be easy to integrate into the case!

    These, to be exact: http://electriclights.tripod.com/bulbs/flickerflame.htm

They don't throw off a ton of light, but are about as bright as a candle - but the Flicker/Flame effect is great!

That is truly awesome. Having the watercooling and lighting makes is look 10x cooler (and it was already amazing). This case just rocks

    thanks all :)

yes , the WB is on good place

    I hope so :hip:

well, I think I ll do it once the case will be done :)

nice idea man but I think this would give some heat inside the case... about lightning I m still thinking about a white cathode with sound reaction to flick light with the hard drives activity

here are two night shots I took testerday at night, love the uv effect, it is just enough and discret :)
