As a fellow A8N-SLI owner...Me too!!! Curious to see how the GPU blocks fit on the PCI-E cards. EDIT: When are you going to get your video cards?
Same, although mine's in transit to newegg after (what I think is) a fried chipset Looks very promising - my system will likely be very similar but in a v2000. And ACK stop saying PCIX, those are PCIE connectors!!!! Two different things!! [/pet peeve]
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i like the looks of those video card Blocks............qeustion, what kind of CPU chip you got going? i believe you are getting a stocket 939 if i remember correctly, and i just want to say i see alot of potential for this project, so don't let Bit-Tech down!!
They have been ordered But airnt in stock for at least another 2 weeks which is kinda ok cause the rest of the water parts arint going to be here before then At the moment just a 3500+ 90nm most probily. As of yet im not 100% sure it might probily go somthing like this HPPS>Innovatek XX-flow>120.1>Nv-40>Nv-40>120.3>Graph-o-matic>bayres Hopefully that will work , right going to fit top rad todays
nice setup wish i had that kinda hardware going into my puder goodluck with the project looks like its going to be interesting, cant wait to see how it performs
Been messing about with the top radiator and it fits very snug now Top 120.3 Still need to put grills and clean up the edges Place im going to mount the pump... What ya Think so far ? Brading kit should be coming somewhen (im not looking foward to brading all these cables lol
iv just merged the two holes in the bulkhead into one and played the little clips were i think they should go to hold the tubing nicly. Will get some pics in a mo..
Looking forward to see how the water cooled SLI cards work out. I've got the same motherboard and intend to build a similar rig It'll be interesting to see if there's enough room to avoid 90 degree turns in the tubing. I'm subscribed
Do you have enough room to add a soundcard? This thing is going to be "Schweeeet" when you finish. Looks good.
those " muffled " cables as you call them are to remove any noise that the harddrive or videocard might generate. It also provides a more stable power connection to the videocard and the harddrives. OCZ Sells these kind of cables as well, i have a review on it on my website.
I know lol, there Shielded cables just on all the reviews of the 520watt powerstream none of them have 3 or them leads they all had 2 were as this one has 3, must have been a new version p.s There is one pci slot free if i wanted a sound card but tbh i want to see what the onboard sounds like first.
When I first read you were cutting 3 120mm blowholes in a brand new Lian Li case. I thought you were crazy. But after seing the results the cuts are perfect. What did you use to make those cuts so nice? BTW rig is looking killer. Also i noticed in your sig you had a watercooled Shuttle. Any chance you could post a few pictures of it?
i just mounted the pump and the pipe holders to hold the tubing nice and neat over all pic (you can now see the merged bulkhead hole Pump mounted on the anti vibration bolts Pump holders Blue tacked in place to get ruff idea Cuts were made with a 120mm Holesaw And shuttle pics well here u go.. (p.s they aint been resized) [Removed] Side [Removed] Front [Removed] top side [Removed] Night shot Thats it for tonight Sc4mpi out...
