1. If at all possible I'd rather fix something myself than get a proffesional to do it. 2. I've found it's often cheaper to buy the 1 specialised tool to do said task then getting the proffesional to do it. (And it costs you nothing if you ever have to do it again). 3. My TV died at 11.00PM last night while watching Buffy episodes. 4. I hate doing the washing up and if I leave it long enough my girlfriend gets fed up and does them for me. 5. My Ferrari is actually a Cortina.
i use to think i had OCD or something, as at some points when i was younger i had to do things a cetrain way.. e.g before going to bed i had to open my cuboard check it, open my curtains physically check the window was locked then go to bed... and i use to stupidly worrie about everything... One of the worst things was thinking about worse case senairo in skateboarding, e.g i could fall back break my back or, lean too far forwards fly and smash my face open on the floor etc. and the fact it hurts a lot more backing out of a trick than going for it and trying to land it 95% of the time... i don't think about thinks that much now, as what happens happens live your life as you do and theres no point regretting what you can't change. i just do them and in skateboarding i rarely get hurt at all, especially nothing serious like break my ankle.
1. I've had a full blown punchup with my neighbour over the shade of green I painted my fence (no joke . .) 2. I get really wound up over the smallest things 3. I have mild OCD (my worst trait is needing to make sure EVERYTHING is symmetrical and in size order) 4. I always open every new electrical item to see how it works 5. I have a 700+ DVD collection (sorted alphabetically, daily )
^ OCDs are random as. A friends friend has a really wierd OCD where she can only do things in odd numbers...random as hell.
Thats exactly what i do,but only at work...and as i work for a jap company their "standards" are extremely high. So I dont have OCD but i have to remember to do things in Size,Colour,Style and then perfectly straight and Symmetrical. Its quite alot to remember.
My friend bought a Ferrari for 2500 quid, he took it for a service and weas quoted nearly 5 times that amount to get it up to scratch. hehehe
