Really really really fine example of what is meant to be done with this type of motherboard casing & with a mobo like that it would be impossible to not put a window on the case , looks incredible & hand painted too which is an extra notch of special awseomeness but it's a shame any of it will be covered by a gpu but not much I suppose if water cooling . Best motherboard ever .
@[ZiiP] NaloaC, thanks for tuning in and commenting @zeBriukas, Thanks for checking it and commenting! @Waynio, thanx mate! def water cooling 580 GTX, just one... @Mankz, Looks like it's coated with Vanilla Chocolate. @bulldogjeff, Brads da man, I just make sure to keep his drinks topped. @23RO_UK, No loss imho, ASUS name plate was glued on
nice! i like that new paint job... the asus logo kinda reminds me of 80s movie logos for the futuristic type movies...
Psychosis was the 1st case mod i ever saw that got me interested in case modding Glad to see its bee resurrected again Bill And as always the design and implementation is flawless cant wait to see more Just love that airbrushed skull
@23RO_UK, I gently pried it off with a micro flat head screw driver. The glue residue on the Black heat sink is a bitch to remove. I tried Lacquer Thinner first to no avail, then had to use micro hand file to remove the glue from the top edges of the heat sinks, then dabbed a very thin layer of Black paint to touch up any exposed metal. We're talking millimeter size exposed specs which shouldn't effect heat dissipation. The 2x Green "X" shaped heat sinks are both "screwed and glued" on. I used a Needle Nose Pliers to squeeze together the 2 hooks on plastic prongs on backside of the motherboard., the gently push them through the board. The glue amount on these is very small. Removing these may even help the heat dissipation. @TeenGeek, I can see it too @Shael, that is soo cool to hear! Thank you for the post!
Great look with the airbrushing! Will the paint job continue onto the RAM, cooling blocks, and GPU shroud? Maybe even the tubing? Many possibilities...
Thanks for the comments guys! I'll be installing ASUS GeForce GTX 580, DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 (product page) and leaning toward AquagraFX water block.
