Useless for gaming, but good for professional use.

Surely you jest? Check out details of rigs using Matrox triple head cards for gaming some time with up to 270 degree field of view being supported in many games. Same functionality here but a greater degree of freedom in how it's used.

    WANT!

As cool as this idea is it's got very limited use, especially in games. Any time that you have the bezels of two monitors in the centre of the viewing area, either vertically or horizontally makes the benefit of the extra screens pointless as that's where your eyes will be focused most of the time. Driving games and especially FPS games are prime examples of applications where this won't work. You must be able to have a screen in the centre or there's no point.

Just a little more food for thought, according to Maximum PC, they were able to keep FarCry2 running at 12-20 FPS, not wonderful, but a decent start for something this aggressive.

how about 6 projectors on very big wall, that would be seamless if you can line them up properly

Heh, I have 17 projectors at my disposal so double up these cards and we have one giant display and a rather large electricity bill. :)

I would rather just use a 50" plasma and have better quality along with response time...
