You wouldn't be able to see those on a chart they'd be so far away, J/K. :D ;)

Seriously though it would be kind of fun to see just how much AMD have improved with Ryzen, some people seem to be a little disappointed with Ryzen but (IMO) they seem to be missing that improvements like these are once a decade occasion, if that.

16 threads is a lot of pornhub tabs. Is that what it's "bringing to the table"? :D

AMD did advertise it as a gamers chip though. And a Overclocked fx8370 is quicker in dx12 across about 50% of the benchmarked titles.

Ashes is classed by many AMD fans as showing the future of gaming, multi threaded multi core performance. In that bench AMD offers 60% the fps of the Intel chips.

If they marketed as workstation nobody would of brought up the games argument, and if you go back to Intel reviews they also took a lot of abuse for the game results on there 8/10 core chips.

Eh, all speculation about unlaid eggs, lets see how the smaller Ryzens compare to the i5's.
Even if they don't beat 'em, they'll make sure we get a price shift.

In the end, both camps will get their gaming CPU for less than now, which we should all be happy about :D

CPU has PCI-E 3.0 16 lanes (1x x16 or 2x x8). Then the X370/B350 adds few more for the M.2 (PCI-E 3.0 x4) and the x1 slots, plus sometimes for the bottom x16 slot (usually wired as x4).

ECC memory support confirmed, leaving it down to board partners. I suspect Asrock will make a few :)
