Ok thanks for that, I can understand you wanted to avoid confusion but it still leaves me scratching my head as about 75% of the article contents are shared. Perhaps in the future have releases of similar cards like this link to the same forum thread so as to focus the discussion.

 

You can’t possibly thing that just cus Crysis old school it's out dated and not good enough. Dude cmn. It’s not just a game, but almost like graphics card stress test software. Take Prime95 for example sure its freaking old as you know what, but everyone still uses even today.

With Arma II in the mix there is no longer a need for a Crysis benchmark, as both stress computer hardware.

And, Arma II is DX 11.

exactly, if you switch you need to retest past cards for proper comparison.

 

Did everyone retest with Farcry? That used to be the standard few years back. Was a tough challenge for systems for a long time. But places stopped using it as it got old.

Give it a year and basic new systems will run Crysis easily. Already it aint the stress test it used to be. Look at the res they test at. How many of gamers really play above 1900x1200? Honestly? Not that many trust.

Crysis is hard work for a GPU true, but its OLD. It was never properly optimised to begin with (part of why its hard). Why bother to keep using it?

Bit-tech need to pick DX11 games to test with. Not all of us have dx 11 cards (me included) but its where it's at yeah. By all your arguments we should still be testing games according to Farcry. Get with the times. Crysis. Is. Old.

 

I understand the need to phase out a game but not one this quickly and suddenly and for the record I play at 2560x1600
