AX:GS – Blog about your prize and win a trip to Taiwan

Well I can get in and get to the form for making a blog, but I've not actually tried posting yet.

However, after firing off another email (this time with my real name, which is in the email's From: header anyways and my nickname which is the same between both sites) I got this reply:

 

I'd assume it's the component category but I'll wait for an answer from Asus. I've logged in and looks like I'm OK to post

 

ok i can log in and blog now time to start writing

 

It's confusing, as already mentioned - there are only two categories; Notebook and Component, hoping "Xtreme Global Summit" will appear so we all know where to post.

 

Pretty sure it's the component category guys.

 

So we need to do 2 x 200 word blog posts each week to qualify, when does this "start"?? We all need confirmation eg ready steady go otherwise we might miss out! Secondly, the first lot of blogging is about the components, what happens when we need to blog about the event and anything else you ask for, what catagory then?

However I must point out what a debacle this has been. If I wasn't going to be getting shineys at the end, I would be refusing to do this.

 

Yeah thats one thing. We got told the first blog post was to be about the event. Is this still the case or should I delete my work and focus on the parts I won?

Update: Tried to post, got an error saying "content is empty" and it cleared all the work I did. Good job I have my post in a text file!

Update 2: Going to try again another time. I can't even upload photos now <sigh>

 

So im getting ready to upload my GPU artical, but what is next, my first one i about the hardware, when to I post the outher for this week?

 

I can't post either - this is a shambles.

Wow, scratch that, cant add my blog. Come on guys I have got nearly 400 word on the hardware waiting to go

Try just adding a topic, they dont send you an email

As we are obviously having trouble with the publishing of our blogs, could we get some more topics so that we can start preparing for when they are needed.

 

Should we start posting them here?

 

Hey guys - Really sorry for the messing around on this, I'm not 100% sure what's going on or why you're having trouble.

I'll get on the phone tomorrow morning to the person responsible and pass on your thoughts!

 

Just to follow up, I've just sent a mail to the people in charge asking about what's going on and will let you know the moment I know anything more.

 

Wow, if you all keep stalling one more week, i can participate again! yay!
