    Band Name Gutterstar

    So I was the drummer for the band Gutterstar from New York City...there are 3 things you should know. 1. The band does not exist anymore, but you may run into confusion if you play in the NYC metro area. 2. Nobody from our outfit ever threatend to sue over the name because you can not copyright a band name. 3. The quote is from Oscar Wilde.....

    If you desire the name that badly.....take it. We still own the website and myspace, however, and use it to direct people to our new bands.

    cheers for that thirdphase- all i heard was a paraphrase from the singer of the band at the time, but everybody has now either moved on or lost interest entirely in performing.

    This is crap. Don't use it unless you're a really boring heavy metal band who scream about your endless pain and the depths of your dispair that the norms could never understand because they're too shallow.

    I still think Lawyer Hole is the best name for a band I've ever heard and if you didn't use it you'd be ****ing imbeciles.
