Quick question: What would be quicker rendering in KK - an ATI 4850 or the same card after being softmodded to a firepro v8700?
+1 raytracing is still CPU based. Workstation cards are still only able to accelerate view ports in CAD, at the moment developement is being done to produce rendered images and videos via the GPU, which i hope will be a CUDA based development.
You all got lots of talent very good renders... can someone help me doing a sketch up model of a case? Because i cant draw it very good ... if yes Pm please..
Hi everyone, i wasn't aware of this topic and when i first saw it my mouth goes like You got very nice renders, glad to find here. Maybe someone saw me on XS, i got some renders too but i don't give much time so they're not good as yours My last quick render, 18 minutes only. And some oldies; And a note, i'm manufacturing all these blocks so they have a copy in real life
Here's a slightly larger version of my water cooling case design. It now has 10 PCI slots and an additional 5.25 drive bay. It can now accommodate the EVGA 4x SLI XL-ATX motherboard and their dual processor socket motherboard due for release in April. This render shows the dual socket motherboard installed. I only had time to do 70 passes though, so it's not as sharp as I would like, but it's not bad. I will do a couple more with more passes when I can.....
Yay C4D! MSI Eclipse Plus, I'm one of the few owners of one Modelled in Sketchup, rendered in Cinema4D. Lit using Global Illumination and HDRI. My main issue is, i have to export as a .3DS from sketchup, and then import that into C4D. If you look at curved things, like the white acetal on the waterblock, its really bad! Anybody got any ideas on this? Bocian's 5870's and someones OCZ Reapers
looks like it lost its "smoothing group" try to apply a smoothing modifier onto the objects in cad ( if theres something like that)
