got any more renderings of tredz?
i would love to see where it goes from your first pic
Working on it - Phobya takes priority though!
Will probably end up being a armored utility vehicle with 4 sets of 'tredz'. maybe a trailer too, like the vehicles in the cover of 'Red Mars' but with tracks instead of huuuuge wheels
you should take a google image search for something called ripsaw ms-1
it has tredz also
Hi. I have recently been trying to render a rc fuel tank. I have done the model all good in autocad and assigned the materials with the included ones. I know there not that great but I cant make a material. Anyway when I render it I have put it on the highest settings and turned sunlight on etc but when I render it on its last pass over it will make the wall on the right hand side in the background black and the tank will dissapear and just leave a shadow. I have fiddled around moving the tank and changing the materials and changed a fe of the preset settigns a little but I can get a light to go in the right spot because it always endss up on the ground ages away instead of in the air near it.
If anyone uses autocad and could give me a hand that would be great. Also if anyone has a room or a light box drawn in autocad for rendering with the lights already where they should be would there be any chance they could send it to me?
@ cronicash... Many thanks for that pump model Glad to see it go to jezmck too!
Played around with the rectangular lights in VRay, and didn't get too bad results. The model is my entry for the Phobya case design competition.
PFFFFT!.....Excellent Razer! +++++ for the dark backdrop dude. Don't mind the white wash kind, mind you, it's just to over used now. So more +++++ for the light case with that backdrop! Which Mat did you use? And give up some settings while your at it... lol. Pleeeease like cheeeese
Here's my scene: (THIS IS IN VRAY)
- the white rectangles is "rectangle lights"
- there are one at the top, and one on each side (front, back, left, right)
- depending on how close they are to the model, you set the intensity. mine was between 40 and 70.
(If this pic doesn't work, go here: http://forums.losias.net/gallery/image_page.php?album_id=32&image_id=453)
The open side should be closed by a blank sheet.
Here is the material setting for the exterior of the case:
And the interior of the case:
And the fan blades:
And the floor:
HERES the render:
I still prefer this. PM me if you want a small tut like this one, for the render below:
Believe it or not. this is a good †hing †o show peeps. I should know...I asked for it..thanks. but not for me ohhhhh I have a noob friady cat. we'll see soon bro
i tried to make some grass the other day, although realized that it was way too tall after it had rendered...
Let's say there wasn't anyone around to mow it for the last year.
Other then that this is a beatiful render
Despite the long grass, it still fits well. I'm impressed
Lets just say there wasn't anyone around when you took that picture
Working on an interior, again
edit; it's not complete, looking for suggestions on composition of the scene and what to add/change!
DUDE!!! that book case is awesome!
mystiik, looks very nice ! how do you make the chromatic aberration effect ?
You can do it two ways; either unlock the arch/DOF bokeh effect in 3ds max (found here) and use a bokeh additive map BE WARNED! this is very slow and you'll need to increase the sample sizemassively for it to look nice,
In photoshop, ctrl+a, go to channels, click the red channel and with the move tool (v) move it one or two pixels in any direction, then repeat for the blue channel until you're happy with the outcome
Separate names with a comma.
