"Bad people are killed before they are able to do anything really bad and the team behind all these covert ops is called Dead Echo. Your character, Grayson Hunt is a member of Dead Echo, but he discovers that the unit isn’t killing bad people – they’re being used buy a psychotic general, Cerrano, to kill the people he hates."

That part sounds a little Minority Report meets Wanted. But the rest of it sounds pretty fresh. This could be very good if they get it right. Would certainly make a nice change from the standard shooters we seem to be always getting. I will watch this game with great interest.

yay... another fps! Long time since i last saw one. Like 2 weeks and three days
Call me nostalgic, but in the 90's game design was more creative. I think it was because they had less resources
IMO technology should be used to add more realism. Like L4D...

From what I've been reading about this game it sounds like it could well be a damn fun shooter.

At the time Painkiller was one of my favourite games, nothing can beat the stake gun, if this is anything like that then count me in.

Fact: Those aren't zombies in Left 4 Dead. They are infected humans.

A point I am reminded about every time I see Valve: The Infected in L4D are never seen eating flesh and aren't reanimated corpses, merely infected live ones. Thus; not Zombies in the same way that the Infected in I Am Legend (the book, not the crappy film) aren't actually vampires.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the large resemblance to Borderlands and I'm talking almost identical.

Sure it does, I think you go places and shoot people in the head.

But in all seriousness I was getting a borderlands vibe from this game too but I think that borderlands suffered because of the hype.

Interesting how you feel "so smart" after accepting something passively just because one of the BT editors said so.

What I was trying to say is that in L4D there where real guns, with real people shooting them in real idealized scenery. You can add CoD, MoH and others to the equation

Anyway, what I meant is that people are so worried to add some fancy features like the energy leash inspired in "Omega's red" tentacles, or the upside down shite heavely used in another pre-hyped (and after launch failure) like "Prey", just to call it different. We readers just saw an entire article about how "Crysis was terrible" pointing out some things that i just said.

So after all this, pay attention in what is not directly under your nose. And if you don't want to use your brain, be at least respectfull. Because when you were probably in diapers i was already a a hardcore computer user AND a gamer. And you can see by my join date that i am a member a long time before even the moderators here in this topic.

I didn't accept anything, I read your comment and scoffed at the very notion that L4D is real, or has any sense of realism about it.

Again you didn't read. I didn't said its "real". I said technology should add to realism, not to visual effects.

Think about Michael Bay directing a pr0n movie. Is it really necessary?
