Fun thing is, the same written statement that claims the information hasn't been collated into something resembling a structured paper also tries to justify hiding the very same information from us:
"...there are a number of reasons why the Government believes that it would not be in the public interest for elements of the analysis, at least, to be released into the public domain".

So they are saying that someone somewhere has totally done their homework, but they are unwilling to divulge any information relating to it.

Even first graders have better excuses

Sooo... This begs the question how David Davis can therefore claim to be ready to hold trade negotiations with the EU27 without already having information which is accessible and informative.

I love London, but I wouldn't want to live there nowadays. It is crazy busy (and anyway, the only accommodation I could afford there would be a cardboard box under a bridge. And it would be a small box, under not even one of the swankier bridges).

 

DD probably knows what he wants, and therefore in his world he's ready for talks. He probably hasn't considered the other party in the negotiation might want something too. It's the cake and eat it mentality.

Thats because Patel has always been a self serving know-it-all who has a history of going 'off book'.

Offering UK Government money to parts of Israel that the UK doesn't actually consider 'Israel' is always going to end up with someones head well and truely on the block.

As much as the current Governement is arseing up left-right-and-centre, this one isn't on them, its on Patel.
