Multi Fallout 4

Only time I wore the armour was the initial quest where you got the first one from the minutemen, and to move it out of the armour station to create a second one. Apart from that, not touched them or used them in combat... I prefer going solo, stealthing around.

 

I have just used one for the super mutants on the island, I actually have three and now beginning to find some reasonable weapons.

 

Righteous Authority is focused on long range high damage - Works just as well up close and personal, and with something like 500+ shots I'm using it on everything.

10mm is silenced, with as much damage as I could muster before I got RA, and a long mag.

Gatling laser is all about power and maiming. I think I last used it when I stumbled into a lvl 61 Deathclaw.

MIRV only has one mod, the MIRV launcher. ~6 mini nukes. Haw-haw.

 

Right now i am totally fed up with a retarded NPCs... I have to escort a BoS scribe to the gunners base. Guess what, the retarded scribe is always playing hero and dies like an idiot. What makes the whole thing worse is that he doesn't follow me, while i nicely sneak up behind a guy with a Fatman, which would otherwise obliterate us, and he gets killed elsewhere. I just have to give myself a pause from Fallout after 3 scribe deaths.

@liratheal: Righteous Authority is my choice of weapon too, when i have the ammo for it.

 

I can't find anything but ammo for it!

Incidentally, I started doing the Scribe missions tonight. Do they repeat constantly like the tech collect quests?

No idea. I am doing first of those missions from BoS HQ... and the ******* died again. This time i pulled a Fatman on the Fatman firing guy, so the Scribe didn't die outside... I did the mission, started scavenging the place, opened one locked door, which was booby trapped. I ran away, Danse ran away... and the stupid scribe took the grenade in the face, said "I won't make it..." and died, with his right arm nowhere to be seen. What an idiot. I had enough FO4 for today, if i could have that Scribe on a leash, i would totally use one.

 

Had a quest to do which I was not really ready for as it had a bunch of the big green mutant so and so's to deal with so I decided to come back later. A bit further on I had to go back to this same area on another quest and was not looking forward to the confrontation when suddenly a BoS gunship appeared and wiped out the greenies and I was able to complete both quests and get myself a bunch of goodies without me firing a shot.
But to fully complete one of the quests I needed to speak to someone a little bit away and either kill him or end the matter peacefully, I chose the latter and he said I could help myself to anything I wanted as he had been collecting for a while. He had a bunch of cr** and not for the first time has a reward been rubbish.

 

I gave in and grabbed it for £31.99. And I'm glad I did. Loving it!

And what is the deal with the booby-trapped Stall (toilet) doors. Nearly had my arse blown off that way a few times. I'm always ready to run now xD

 

In most cases you disarm the grenade bouquet through a hole in a wall.

 

I've been looking everywhere for a .50 cal. Seems that even though I have tons of ammo - no gun.

Harumph I really must look harder !

 

A half decent 10mm pistol is pretty good if you have Paladin Danse at your side.

I started using a pistol where bullets explode after few seconds once it hit the target . Nice extra damage against bystanders .

 

Yeah true. I've had him by my side since pretty much the start of the game and if things get too tough I just find a nice safe place to hide and let him do all of the work.

I tried using Dogmeat but I just found myself giving him all of my Stimpaks. Not very helpful when I usually need them for myself.

I have now found a .50 cal gun but it's some crude wooden thing. I think I will stick to my custom assault rifle

 

Where did you find that?

I have found odd weapons like a gun that is more efficient if you have drug withdrawal symptoms. No good me as I do not use any drugs bar the stimpack. Did not use them in Fallout 3 either.

If I remember rightly I linked to the Configuration Tools earlier which I found very useful getting the game to look good and fill the screen on my U3415.

 

Ah sorry, it is explosion on impact, not seconds later. And it was a random drop of someone i think, it's not a special weapon :


Still, one of the best pistols i had so far. Often i sneak relatively close to the enemy, headshot them and in most cases that is all it takes to take them down. I rarely need a second shot or more.

 

Not come across that yet but I have just got a pistol that does 50% more damage to super mutants.
Not keen on the weapon selection as I cannot remember what is under which key. I much prefer the scroll wheel selection that one normally gets in games.

 

I've found all of my weapons on others. The only thing I have done so far is add a quick swap mag to my combat shotgun and want a longer barrel but must do more scavving to find the correct parts. Thank god for "Tag for search".

LOL seems I've amassed a few of the elusive cores.



I'm going to need them too. Just embarked on a "Kill all of the Raiders" quest and one of the little stains has a missile launcher and I can't see him. So all I hear is this whistling sound and then I die lol.
