    temps were at 85c when running the benchmark so i was ok im trying to push it more but the damn chip will not hit 5.3 no matter what i do

    My chip hasn't got anymore left in it flame so your score should be safe. I've tried everything to get the 52 multi but its a no go. The blk will only do 102.0. Even put a monstrous 1.7v through the bitch. Got the ram up to 2177. Might do some more work on that though. Roll on next month 2011 here we come

    Have you tried dropping the multi back to 50 and upping the blck to 105?

    haha im not gonna lie im not very knowledgable when it comes to overclocking, and id be scared id push the volts too far and damage the cpu. also i dont really know what things to turn up and what to turn down (coming from amd) theres like 6 different cpu-related voltages on here! :p

    to get where i am atm i followed the oc'ing guide bit tech made and just turned the volts down a bit
