The interesting thing is that I used to hate the Holographic sights. And then I started using them on sniper rifles.

And then I loved them.

58-16 TDM against CPC and some of the Aria finery, don't mind if I do!

EDIT: The pwnage continued all evening, great bunch of games. Think I'm starting to realise the potential of ultra graphics, no limits on skill!

 

Never do burst fire at long range, the accuracy is all over the place. Best way is to set to single shot and this way you get alot of velocity in the round which is a hell of alot more accurate and deadly

Yup, that was the game! You're right though, I was quite shocked I blew you away so many times, you're usually not that easy to catch. I put it down to my old rig limiting me..

@ Elton - damn right I'm back! Got premium yesterday and am loving BF3 once again!

 

Back in Australia today - should be interesting playing with 300 pings (to the UK servers) next week when I get the computer set up...

@Deadbolt: Sorry I couldn't catch up for a beer 'fore I left Blighty - only had a couple days between US an AU flights and was under pressure trying to pack/ship everything in time! Next time I'm back in the UK though, will have to hit up a mumble meet lol.

 

Yeah! Awesome games last night boys, I think we had 50+ people on the server when I left about 11pm

Dom C4'd me and took the whole building down as I was running into the MCOM on Noshar the b*stard! I got him back by spending about 20 minutes piloting the Venom round guns blazing!

 

Hehe i do love laying traps like that. Won't be the first or the last time i add more C4 kills to my current count. Amazing thing was i survived the blast too!

There's always a few friendly 'faces' on from around 19:00 GMT (7pm) onwards mostly heating up around 20-22 GMT (8-10pm) - so just join up and enjoy the banter.

 

You didn't mention it was hardcore, so it was a lot more difficult for us to get those kills

Finally got back on the server with the crew, was good to be back, yep still sucking but loving CQB.

 

Should be on for a good session tonight barring bad overclocks..

I'd like to try some of this close quarters stuff with an eye for getting the unlocks, seems the AUG is OP at the mo..
