Seen Marillion, The Decemberists, Meat Loaf, and a couple o' tribute bands this year.
Foo Fighters in Cardiff last week, was awesome, definitely going to get tickets for Wembley. Saw Biffy Clyro in Bristol on Sunday as well, they were great but didn't enjoy it a great deal due to illness .
Seeing Korn in January (not really sure why) and desperately trying to get QOTSA tickets for Bristol.
Not really, they are more breakbeat DJ's as opposed to a real-life performing band.
Every month's set's have been different with the last one being quite a stompin' night.
Much envy. Just getting back into breakbeat with stanton warriors and Broke 'n' English by Aquasky and Elhornet, seeing the autobots once would be cool, seeing 'em regularly would be awesome.
Taste of Chaos tomorrow at the Birmingham Academy
sad thing is, dont think I can go. Last train from Birmingham is 11 and ToC ends much later. so damn awkward living far away from big venues.
Line up: The Used, Rise Against, Aiden, Gallows, The Blackout.
I do it quite often- when you don't really get to pick and choose who plays near you, any band that you like is worth seeing. Still just as much fun the 2nd time round as well imo.
Smashing Pumpkins @ the O2 Feb 16th with some friends, managed to get 4 standing tickets.....
Saw them at reading, twas awesome, and twill be this time too...
Paramore @ Brixton - Feb 1 '08
Havent been to any gigs for ages!
My girlfriend is going with her mates, cos i'm working.
Hope the used play a decent set. And the Gallows are great live (saw them with bullet for my valentine this year) And the blackout are good fun to watch too (seen them 3 times now)
I hate me, I cant actually go ... although now I know your girlfriend will be there ....
nah, It's so much hassle, I have school in the morning and there is a 99% chance I will end up having to pull an all nighter in Birmingham as I will miss the last train home. Pretty crap but its not the end of the world, I did really wanna see Rise Againts but will have a look some other time.
I want to see rise against! wwaaah!
Oh aye, you'd have no chance
Know what you mean though, we've missed the last train a few times...
