sikth are a good bunch of lads. They're from round my home town and went to school with some of my mates. Justin got a bit annoyed with me when I just went up to him and held my finger out. He wouldn't ****ing hold it.

Saw Regina Spektor at the Concorde 2 in Brighton recently. She was so ****ing intense!

Right, i'm bringing this thread back So much to come this year.

I've just booked (and so excited about) The Vans/Eastpak Antidote tour, for Wolves.
I'm more excited than I was before, cos i'm just found out Soilwork are headlining this venue, and Dark Tranquility are the added support (along with Caliban and Sonic Syndicate).
Most of the other venues are getting Chimiara headlining with Soilwork/Caliban/Sonic Syndicate making up the numbers.
I'm so pleased! I LOVE Dark Tranquility, and Soilwork headlining simply pwns - one of my fave bands.

Also, to come for me. Enter Shikari and The Black Crusuade at the NEC!! Which is Machine head, Trivium, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy and Shadowsfall.

I am *so* looking forward to this lot!

 

I'd forgotten about it too! I've got five gigs in five nights this week - Duke Special is putting on a series of shows at a local music hall with different themes, guests and music - from Vaudeville Extravaganza to Big Band Showtime

Pity I have a resit on saturday though, and lab reports to write this week

 

Nothing else this year, Live Earth kinda wiped me out on the music front.

I'm seeing the Beastie Boys in Brixton early September. Other than that, nothing else really. Although I really really REALLY want to go see Sunn O))) and Boris perform Altar in London. It'd be flipping spectacular. Earth are supporting too. Giant drone boner. Broner!

 

Not Justin's Final (I'm pretty sure he hasn't toured since last year sometime), but actually my missus' black metal/doom band. Hence me going to the several dates. And the name 'Final' is to be changed anyway at some point.

Dude I know you live in Wisconsin, but there have to be gigs going on within a few hours travelling of you on a very regular basis. I'm in the hilly bit of Scotland and even I can find stuff when I feel like it.
