 Thanks everyone! (Except YOU, perplekks!:nono:)
...^%&#$* trolls... I'll update if you stop with the trolls.

-OK, I milled out a load of these WonderWoman invisible hockey pucks.
-The plan is to have the core seated on the tube that runs through the center of the reservoir.
-Here's the whole batch. Next I needed a guide to glue them with.
-I made a plug for the center out of delrin. After the solvent dries it just pops out. (Or at least, that was the plan. It took a bit of hammering for the 'pop' part to happen.)
Bananaman got one of those extreme makeovers while the pucks were milling.
    -Test fit.:D
    [IMG]
-Gluing was tough. I had to let the glued bits sit for at least an hour before I could try to knock the guide plug out.
-While I was on the back porch gluing, I noticed something just outside the screen door. Around this time of year, these wander away from the waterways, killing everything in their path. Lucky for me I know an Italian plumber who took care of the problem. I still don't know how this guy got through the fence...:eyebrow:
-I made the mistake of putting this part together without sanding it properly. I decided to try using lapidary grit to sand it out.
    - I figured out I need more grit than my stingy self spooned out. It didn't stick to the felt very well either.
-Mach was awesome enough to loan me his 1/4"BSPP tapping die. I'm not posting pics of the process because it might incriminate me. Let's just say you shouldn't loan stuff out to anyone named, 'cheap-'.:hehe:
I tapped less than a foot of 1/2" plexi rod. -Honest!
-Here's some of the tapped rod ready to be milled even.

    That's it for now
    Thanks again to my sponsors

Awesome man, nice work on the acrylic mate! Did you estimate how much is going to weigh?

Thanks. The billet for the core weighs in at 2 pounds right now. I have no clue how much everything will weigh.

How much is all this acrylic costing you Cheaps?
If you don't mind me asking, that is.

I can't help but to be curious.

Did it involve a spanner? or maybe worse a pair of pliers? Or should I really not ask?

Are you guessing the case weight or with everything including water in it as well?

I made what I thought was a fairly lightish case turn and had it turn out to be a 39kg monster. Most of it was 6mm thick acrylic but with this case, theres just SOO MUCH plastic all over the shop.

My money is on 45kgs with everything in it.

    I'm hoping it's under 60 pounds total.
Cost? Not including 4 shipping sessions, the plexiglas is running about $430.:jawdrop:
