Been watching this show since episode 3...it really rocks. The comics online are rather interesting, too. I think it's safe to say that Hiro is basically the fan favorite at this time.

Why have they put a long gap in the middle of the series ?

I think it may have something to do with a fat bloke in a red & white suit? :worried:

Real answer - see my last posting in this thread (bottom of page 2).
Season 1 was originally only going to be 13 episodes.
NBC like it so much they ordered 9 more (which we'll have to wait for them to make first!)

All the good US TV series seem to have this annoying gap in the middle. Dont tell me Lost was planning to stop in the middle and make extra episodes too ?

Seems to be because they usually feel the need to drag everything out for atleast 20 episodes, that's why stuff like IT Crowd and Life On Mars are so good, because they put it all into a few episodes, quality not quantity remember.

The show Dexter is a great american example of a series that's just the right length.

Dexter is brilliant. I love shows like that. Its currently the one I'm most eager to watch and will always get "Highest" in bit comets download priority on my friday night download sessions, alongside Battlestar Galactica, Heroes and South Park.

Disclaimer: I don't really download anything, I just say it to fit in. :p

I was rather dissapointed to find that there was this large gap in the series too. It means I have nothing decent to watch over the Christmas period!
Nice to see BBC2 have snapped it up though. Any word on when it will be aired?

Seems to be next year sometime, AFTER Sci-Fi have screened it.

    Here's a quote I googled from a Heroes forum:-

So with 22 episodes in Season 1, BBC2 will probably start airing it in the 2nd half of 2007.

Epiode 12 is up! Pretty good imo.

Nathan: What do you think it is that makes this...bomb thing go off?
    Hero: Don't know. Probably...bad guy?
    Nathan: Bad guy?
    Hero: Yes. Like billan
    Nathan: What's that?!
    Hero: Billan
    Nathan: Billan?
    Hero: Billan
    Nathan: Villain!
    Hero: Vfuuuurl-
    Nathan: -Vee!
    Hero: Veeeeelain

Great little moment between the two - made me chuckle :hehe:

Ooh! And Claude, the 'invisible man' could be a very interesting character...nice to see Mr Eccleston on screen again.

The damn thing is finally back. Hate the American style of stopping series in the middle - the dumbest thing to do, and stops people from enjoying it properly.

I am still waiting for Jericho to get back on track too - supposed to be around Feb 21 or something.

    [IMG] Hiro.

The Billan-Villain thing was ad-libbed by the way; it almost didn't get into the episode, but Mr Kring loved it so it stayed in.

I just caught up on the comics, some interesting reading in them.

I gotta say I love the energy-balls talent, I'm just waiting for him to start acting like Pyro from X-Men and throw them at people :D

Yeah it's starting again on the 21'st.

Also, what's with the schedules changing, most of the cool shows now air on Monday night in the States? With nothing on Fridays & Saturdays
Surely ratings would be higher if they were shown on a weekend rather than a week night. Or am I just sad because I sit at home on a weekend....:worried:

24, Heroes, Prison Break - all on Monday
    Jericho, Lost - Wednesdays
My Name Is Earl - Thursdays
Battlestar Galactica, American Dad, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Rome - Sundays
