First time I used the reputation system, "May the relix be with you." { I loled }, well to give you some rep.

Also, what would you say to a guy that want to learn how to draw manga characters?

Using gimp right now for banners and avatar and visual work, I don't think though you can do so much detailed stuff... what your opinion? Using mac and gimp is not native so thats also a reason that I don't quite like it. However, I don't have money for photoshop, so I suppose I have to compromise and support the open-source application.

study human physiology (<great excuse for porn) then start your image as a stick figure, flesh it out with basic shapes whilst still keeping the the proportions in check, your style will come over time.

lot of fiddling tonight, mainly in colours and layer interactions, added the rear info panel and poked the edges a bit, they're a bit on the hard side, i'll soften them up later, fixed some lighting and added a faint interlacing. gotta fix the shadows where the table and cube meet as well as some light/shadow work on the table texture.

I'd say its pretty much done, next time you see it, it'll be complete. I might have a play with the idea some more, an amusing scene popped into my head earlier that if I get 10 mins i'll scribble out.

cant believe this thing of mine has racked up over 2600 views

The new glow between her ankles is awesome. Of course the whole thing is beautiful :D Don't remember if I've commented yet... It's been interesting to follow and that's some sweet work. Just noticed the new glow between her ankles/ behind her and it looks very good.

    COMPLETE

    Width: 3348
    Height: 6299
    Size: 262,666,396 bytes
    Layers: 104
    Layer Groups: 29
    Layer Effects: 49

    Project Pros:
    - Cracked Mugitani Koichis hair and eye style
    - Best layer usage and management yet
    - Abused some new techniques and filter settings I've not used before
    - Boobies :thumb:
    - Antics with Sir Digby :D

    Project Cons:
    - PS NEEDS hardware acceleration (should be there in CS4)
    - Splitting the image into two parts was more trouble then it was worth, next time I'll design it all in one go

    Overall

Fun times, came out better then I thought even if the cube was a real grind at one point. worthy of the wall? most deffo

    40% of original size

and heres how she was built

    OK! SIZES AND PRICING!

met up with my printing friend (used to work for him) and we talked sizes and prices.

    size will be
    H:730mm x W:388mm < which is pretty big

I cant describe the awe of the printer being used othe then its the size of a snooker table and so fine it could print this onto your eyeballs. paper was described as being "supe high gloss ninja ****". I'll be making a few alterations over the weekend and test printing early next week.
each print will also be uniquely numbered for awesome bragging rights :D

PRICE: taking into account the cost of materials and labor + the fact its not a mass printing; each print will cost 20GBP + P&P its the cheapest I can realistically do it.

P&P *should'nt* cost too much as its just a small 40cm hard tube being shipped to your destination of choice.

IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THIS THEN IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU PM ME YOUR SHIPPING DETAILS, once I have obtained a quote I will send you a pm with the total cost, direct bank transfer is nice but paypal is acceptable.

    people who want prints:

If the price is right yeah I would be in, also depends on shipping costs. I wanted to buy a $25 item off of ebay but to get it here from the US was gonna cost $80-$90 lol before customs and insurance.

that might be a problem then as it would be a rolled tube which i cant imagine would be cheap and/or survive the trip intact. :(

Yeah, well the item I was going to purchase was a stainless steel induction kit for my car lol. I could always send you some cash through PayPal and you could email the full size file. I could get it printed for free at Uni.

If the shipping costs aren't that much I would still prefer to do it that way, if the tube is sturdy enough and it is priority post it should be fine.

I would definitely be interested in a poster of this.

How big would it be able to be/how big are you having it printed as?

It looks fantastic and would certainly gain a place on my wall. Good Work Gunsmith and i look forward to any future work that you may (read: must) post here.
