No, the stock must've been snapped up within minutes of my post - it was showing 51% claimed, when I saw it.

 

From the looks of it, they're only selling a small batch (maybe half a dozen) of the product at a time with the deal.
With any luck, during their massive 10 day sale starting tomorrow you guys will hopefully get a few chances to grab one.

Weird, when I went to the page earlier, there was a link to be able to sign up for alerts when it is available again. It's gone now, maybe meaning that's the last lightning deal you'll see of it.

It's also totally out of stock now.

 

Can't you just go to the page I linked and add the item to your wish list?

 

Finally got round to playing the Raiders retreat bonus mission, short but a very cool addition to the game and the raiders planet looks awesome.

They really have done an excellent job of remaking Homeworld 1&2, without taking away all the character, the visuals are so so good.

 

So Deserts of Kharak was announced lastnight with a Jan 20th launch.

looks quite good from what ive seen.

 

It is not actually just Hardware Ship-breakers renamed, as the Dev Blackbird was bought out by Gearbox?

 

it basically is, the name change was to seperate it from the original f2p announcement iirc.

still, be nice to play a decent RTS again.

Pre-ordered. I want Homeworld 3 to happen and this seems to be a way to encourage it.

 

Hah, and not a peep from the 'mailing list' you could sign up to back when it was Hardware:Shipbreakers. Same as the mailing list for Homeworld Remastered. Gearbox are unmitigatedly awful at basic marketing.

 

Cheers for that Gunny. I have no idea what I'm in for, so I don't have any expectations other than for it to be at least 'okay'. Judging from the trailer, it really does seem to be Homeworld in 2D though, which could work.

 

Do let us know how it is, can't imagine me joining in on the pre-ordering but as a massive fan of HW1&2 and the recent re-mastering, it does look interesting.

 

so just got this with prequel coming out imminently.
