Don't bother going Vista x64, I tried it and it's basically the same as x86 apart from it has not support for my tv card. No difference in speed. So unless you have 4GiB+ of RAM do not even bother.

I had the same problem with my BLT drive going AWOL. The solution ended up being to reinstall windows with a version that's not pirated and has been released to consumers

You actually bought Vista? Lol... it works now but don't expect to get anything new that works until 6 months from now when x64 is at least slightly covered... Right now, it's like Linux, it's covered but only with special stuff and the product was made for x86 then ported over with special drivers...
It's 2GB. Why shouldn't it? I was suprised to find out that Core 2 Duos were 64bit as well. I haven't heard anything about that since it was released. Surely 64bit is the way to go though. It may not run things faster at the moment but in theory you can do a lot more with 64bits than 32bits. 64bit games should become faster. Plus we're likely to be using more than 4gb RAM in a couple of years time. Why is 64bit seemingly so unpopular?
Yeah I bought it < It's Run Very good , But Not all Programs and drivers Available for it now But I will Wait !! I'm using Vista 64-bit and XP 32-bit on the same computer to have both 32-bit and 64-bit Lola You Are right Awesome !!!!! Core 2 Duos Are The Best Of the best !!! I bought The 6600 With No Idea About it ! SO By The time We will Learn , Right OK I hope Every Guy here get copy From Vista It's Dam COOL Good luck Guys . Take Care , BYE < CK
