Elden Ring. Well, 42 achievements/1000G unlocked, so as much as you could ever call such a huge game complete anyway. Roll on the DLC.
Burning Shores - pretty darn epic bossfight. The epilogue furthers the story and tells of what's to come - another large quest for starters.
Prey. Again. 43 hours playtime All crew rescued Did the 'good' ending with the nullwave. Amazing game.
Banged out RE3 remake in a day, still so good! Saving replaying RE2/4/8 for the new build, they have this shet dialed don't they! I really want a Code Veronica X remake... But 5/6 can play hide and go feck themselves. #actliketheynevermadethose
RE5 is low-key the worst game ever, but also the best game ever if you're playing co-op with a friend. Troll nirvana. Sheva! Sheva! Sheva! Sheva! Come on! Sheva! [throws grenade] [pushes teammate into zombies]
Not really a full game but finally played and completed The Last of Us : Left behind, owned it for a few years but finally played it on the 3rd purchase .... bought it on PS3, then on PS4 and then PC. ( it came bundled with stuff or a sub, didn't really buy it but so many opportunities to play it before now ) Really nice bit of DLC that looks nice it its latest incarnation on PC. Very short but awesome Really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes vids as part of the extras. Now to finally replay the first game, already completed in PS3 days but fancy a checking it out in this spruced up world before taking on TLOU2.
It's amazing isn't it, the water pistol bit and in the masks etc is highly amusing. I enjoyed the electrified water and climbing up all the trailers etc too, and sneaking around in the higher up sections of the stores... And getting to the helicopter etc etc... And the ending fuuuhhhh!
Dead island 2. finished way before I thought it would and the story is half told. So, that leads me to believe that when they created it they pulled that half a movie/game that was the trend back then. You know? How you’d sit over two hours of a new Matrix movie in the cinema only to realise it was half of it. Now hopefully it’ll be a reduced price DLC and not another full £60 because it’s soured what was a great game a bit. That said I did one side quest through the whole game so there is still a bugger load left to do, and those last 3 bosses are ROCK hard. Especially the last one, which turns out to be more than 10. Both my pal and I both got hopelessly stuck on the same one in the same place, which leads me to believe that the game was literally designed for multiple players as the last couple of bosses are impossible alone IMO. Nothing changes in the amount nor the difficultly no matter how many of you there are. Still, other than the never fixed FSR inventory bug it was hella fun and a worthy half a sequel.
TLOU on PC. Only one crash, took me just under 13 hours. I thought it was longer than that. Any way, onto the little add on bit.
WH40K Kill Team It was okay. Was in the mood for some mindless 40K violence. Wasn't expecting much so I suppose I wasn't disappointed, but it is very much a game to scratch an itch for an evening and not really worry about returning to for full completion (fell asleep in the chair after what Steam says was 7 hours or so, including chasing the "kill multiple things with every weapon" award). Can't even remember the end properly in all honesty, I'd had enough at that point. There was an explosion, I remember that. I might aim for the single collectible that I missed if it doesn't take too long, but I'm not sure I'll be grinding the "play all missions through again using different volunteers" chore. Squid Tip: If you do give this a shot and find yourself dying repeatedly on the lift for no reason at the start of Level 3 as the narrative is playing, head into Nvidia Control Panel, go for the 3D settings and game-specific tab, then set V-Sync to On with a frame cap of 30. For some reason, this fixes the issue.
OK so I finished the add on yesterday. I couldn’t remember if I’d done that before on the PS4 but it seems I had. Might try Unchartered now.
You're in for a treat! UC4 is one of the best games ever made, fact. 2 is amazing as well, 3 is nearly as good as 2 and has some crucial very well done flashback stuff which fills in a lot of the backstory. 1 is like worth it just to blast through the character/friendship/cast/story foundations build up then from 2 onwards it's deeper/proper story/plot. 1 still has a plot/enough of a story but i'd say it's more simplistic. Some wicked bits in it too, but def feels the most aged. Saying that I've still smashed it a few times but 2/3/4 are infinitely replayable espesh for the plot/characters. But yeah 4 oh my feck... SO good! The bonus 5th game is pretty good for a short independent spin off bonus short game.
Uncharted is a banger of a series. When Uncharted 2 came out, it really pushed on the graphics front, it just looked amazing and still holds up today. Lost Legacy is well worth it too - the set pieces are stunning. Uncharted 4 - listen out for the audio cues for 'the lie' - it's really very clever how it was done.
