Another pair of in-ears, Philips again, this time SHE3800BL/00. As with my last pair of Philips, these are absolutely fantastic (the bass is incredible) and they were only £5.50 in Tesco, reduced from £15 or thereabouts.

PS4 thumbstick for my Dreamcast Controller. It's a perfect fit, without modification. It's for use on a PS4, but it's an Xbox One style Concave Thumbstick.

Took a bit of a gamble and got it really cheap because the film back was broken (they're pretty failure-prone). I'm really happy I managed to fix it. There were two different issues inside, neither of which I found described or documented online, but I figured out the mechanism, took it apart and now it works perfectly again (ran a test roll through it 10 times). :D

It's a really cool camera. I also have some folding medium format cameras which are obviously lighter and more compact, but I never liked the fiddliness of manually advancing the film (looking through the little window at numbers), and remembering whether or not you've already exposed a frame. I was also considering a TLR, but then this bargain came up and I couldn't refuse. :)

Steel Battalion controller first gen (green buttons) and Xbox to USB cable for it. Looking to play some Hawken and Elite: Dangerous with it. HOTAS systems cost the same, this is cooler.

Niiice. Mine's boxed with original shipping outer, but it's the later blue-button rerelease. Still an awesome controller, though!

Two bicycles - one for each twin...
Yeah, children are expensive. I hope they prove to be worth the investment in the future.:D

    Genius!

I wonder if it's too late to return them... (the bikes, not the twins).

You know there's a lot of AAA titles you can use it on, thanks to people writing a 64-bit driver for it, right? https://github.com/TylorF/SteelBattalionWindows64

It takes some configuring for each game, but the immersion factor is unbeatable. I plan to mod mine to match the style of Elite: Dangerous, as well as relabel all the keys to match their new functions so I don't accidentally hit self destruct instead of toggling chat.

A carry-on sized rucksack divided like a suitcase (and weighing only 700g) for avoiding Ryanair hold luggage fees.

I don't run Windows - but Linux supports Xbox controllers natively, so I'm free to use it with my desktop using nothing more than a simple adapter cable.

There is widespread support on Linux for it too.
