I definitely recommend this edition to every HPL fan, a pretty large coffee table book with gorgeous illustrations of a supernatural horror classic. Stunning work.

Some employers require word format resumes/CVs as the keyword search prescreener they purchased only works on word documents.

On Topic: I found myself in need of some 1980's kit:

A DB-9 breakout board. Bonus both male and female connectors so I won't have to breakout my gender bender.

Got a whole 3 hours out of MW3, I'd have been peeved if I had paid full whack for it, and the game play was only so so.

AW, fared better @ 5-6 hours of game play, and I actually enjoyed it aside from the rushed ending and unskipable cut scenes.

IW, may have to wait I while as I think I might get the Half Life collection for some retro nostalgia first

My first thought on seeing that image was "Why are they using a hammer to insert a USB thumb drive?"

On the theme of tools just ordered a "Hanix H27" mini digger for a few odd jobs on the farm. It's ridiculous but its cheaper to buy it in the UK and ship it here than it is to buy anything within 200 miles of us, and as for renting one don't even ask what the charges are in rural France.

RX418 Disk tray for the NAS, which is quite close to full.

This morning I was asked if I had done any shopping in the sales, which I had entirely forgotten about on account of being busy as hell at a conference this week.
Had a quick browse, wasn't really anything of interest, and then checked the 20% off warehouse deals, and here it was, £235 like new. Yes please and thankyouverymuch.

Amazon stuff itself is always awesome on BF. That's the only reason I've waited so long to get the echo. Do want RGB bulb for my bedroom now. Saying "Alexa, turn on the lights" when I need a pee will be much better than having yellow shins from smashing them into furniture in the dark.

Also an iPad Pro 10.5" 256GB. In gold. Because I'm fancy like that.

Thus allowing Small_Tad to inherit my Mini, as this seems to make more sense than buying a new mini.

EDIT: And a Brydge keyboard for it for good measure as well.

    8bitdo M30 Bluetooth gamepad

Unpacked it and promptly played Sonic & Knuckles with it for an hour. Fantastic piece of kit. That's two 8bitdo gamepads I own now, the SF30 Pro and this one, and they're both brilliant. The D-pad on the M30 is absolutely spot on and it's incredibly comfortable to hold.

Just picked up a U3818DW beast. I love it but my laptop cannot run the resolution. Got to wait until I can pick up my desktop in a couple of months (left it in Brazil).

(How do I add a picture?)
