Latest Reputation

OK, I was just looking in my CP (Control Panel) and I noticed something that said "Latest Reputation Recieved". Maybe I'm just a forum nub, but what is that supposed to mean??? *looks over shoulder*

 

Members can add to your reputation by clicking the button under your details. They can either give you good or bad. The little green button next to your number of posts shows your reputation

 

But how do you view another user's CP? Surely you must be able to, else what's the point? Like Ebay feeback you can't read....?

Hover on the image to the side of your posts, it shows the rank of the person. You're not supposed to be able to see the comments of other people

You mean the little green button that says everyone is on a “Distinguished Road”?

 

Some people just have their name when you highlight it, I presume they have 0 points, no points either way, never found anybody with - points yet, 'On a path to Hell' perhaps

I presume there is varying ranks in each direction, like the post count

 

:-/ I can see now this thing is already going to get abused, someone threw a negative onto my name for absolutely nothing

 

I'm not sure if its cos I'm logged in as me, or cos I have a neutral and two positives, but when I hover over my green button, it says I am an unknows quantity. Can anyone else see this?

 

Don't forget this system has only been in use for a few weeks. After 6 months the members who've given people good advice or whose mods have been liked will have far more positive reputation points than negatives.

It's starting from scratch for everybody, even superior life-forms like me macroman are still only trudging a distinguished road. But there are lots of higher ranks ahead...

Resurrected, because I still don't understand this system - I can't see any positive/negative feedback buttons, or a way to view all feedback - just a bizarre little green button.
What gives?

 

Ditto. I see the green icon, but that's it. We gonna get reputation pointy giver things? I wanna become the most hated member on bit-tech

Surely spec should start off on negative rep he's already a pig head and banned

 

It's limited to mods and staff only to reward excellent contributions.

 

Plz to be making me -1,000,000 points.

So I gather the rep points were already in place in '04 then? Because Mace and spec's rep is 'an unknown quantity at this point' whereas everybody is 'on a distinguished road'.
