Destiny + a bunch of DLC being free on Epic is going to cause confusion, so before anyone asks:

Yes, if you already have Destiny 2 and some DLC on Steam or something, you can use the same character in Epic to play the other DLC.

It's the same account, but if you have DLC X on Steam and DLC Y on Epic, you have to play Destiny 2 through Epic to access DLC Y and vice versa.

Seems obvious to have groups like these where people get rid of their keys, but I feel suspicious.

 

I haven't clicked through, but what do you lose by taking a key off someone? Do you have to provide info or is it just the access to your profile? In which case, you could set up a dummy profile.

 

I'd use a burner account just in case. Steam might block accounts if they have stolen keys, even if the owner didn't know they were stolen.

 

Ah, good point - didn't think of that.

I know there's a thing where people use stolen cards to buy keys or similar - is that the same, or can keys actually be stolen themselves?

 

There are hundreds/thousands of batches of keys out there, usually for promotions and raffles. They regularly get leaked somewhere and then sold on key reseller stores or given away for free.

I don't know if that Facebook group has any of those keys and I can't even do a quick check because I don't have an account there. So no finger pointing from me, just a warning.

 

With all the love for BG3, and while I know it's not the same, steam has Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition for £3.35 currently. Ends 05/02.
