Those 2k textures don't go easy on the space.

I'm pretty excited about it. the game is a breakthrough with its animations.

Soooo is this going to be a Crysis competitor, or just an extremely bad port?

I call bad port: day 1,2,3, and 4 patches, unstable (if runs at all), etc. I mean day 1 Prototype buggy. :grr:

I agree, why else would 6 cores and 16GB of ram be recommended!?

Exactly, when the consoles can manage with well under 512MB. That's a full 32x less, and closer to 64x on the PS3!

Would it be optimistic just to suggest it scales well and is properly threaded?

Probably, I call crap port as well.

That's what I was hoping, but I'm firmly in the crap port camp. Although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.

Yeah, lets face it, Rockstar have a pretty terrible track record when it comes to PC ports (GTAIV anyone?)

Wow! I thought that the 12 GB for Aliens vs Predator was big enough (for a luke warm game), but this is huge.

All new games I buy now are digital format. Going to have to let this one go all night.

Not sure this is going to be as good as people think (hope?) it will be. That's a ridiculous system spec. It's either completely unoptimised (ie. console port, more than likely), or so amazing that it will blow all other games out of the water graphically (something in me says not so much!).

If it's anything like RAGE that was a whole load of crap, the textures we **** even with Ultra enabled & custom configs, not worth the space and download time at all.
