Getting better One thing tho, get smaller cable sleeving stuff ( you dont need an inch wide tube to house 3x 3 mil cables ) and lob off any cables you dont need, makes for much cleaner and tidier lookin stuff
I understand your position as I am a beginning modder myself haven't yet tried to window my case since it came with a premodded window (yup, shame on me ) but i am currently very busy with rearranging cables and I've partly built a custom 12V/off/7V baybus/fancontroller. If youre from Belgium and looking for OC/Casemodding gear, you might be interested in this site www.inkoopacties.net. people arrange import actions there to reduce shipping/handling costs, they have actions running where you can order cable sleeving and sleeving kits. I'm still thinking of gettin myself some TechFlex cable sleeving kits from this site as they're the only place that sells these kits in The Netherlands. good luck and mod on!
nice work! I like the way the blacks looking! A good job for a first mod, keep it up. btw, the sleeving is cool, but defintely looks better with the exit holes, make them balck and it will be great! RoB
THX guys , so here are the new pics of the case tell me what you think of it , but i realy like it. to bad about the drivers , damn parents
Looking good! Hard to go wrong with black, it goes with everything! I'd look at either stealthing or painting the optical drives next. Something i'm bad for leaving till way later myself
i want to paint my drivers , but my parents wouldnt let me do it so now i have to leave then like this
Then stealth!!! Looking at the inside shots of your case there is enough room to shift the drives back a few cm. Your mounting on rails so check them out see if you have holes futher back or if you need to make some. You then use the blanking plates you removed when you installed the drivers and with a bit of playing attach them to the draw of the CD-ROM. There are all sorts of methods for getting to the eject buttons, my favourite two are: 1; using soft pads to attach the blanking plates which allows you to push them in, so via a little nipple pushes the eject button. Or 2; moving the eject button, ie: you could have two buttons next to your switches on the 3 1/2 blanking plate. The easiest way will be to use the soft sticky pads.
maybe not so nice ( i like it ) , but its a good way for some extra cooling ( thats not the only fan thats going in it ( but its the only one for now ) ) The Fan : and then this : the resault :
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but does it seem weird that the PSU is in the front? Or am I just stupid and is it only powering the CCFL? Or is it not even a PSU?
its not a PSU , its empty , but i am going to put some fans in it , so there is more cooling in my computer.
