Hey, we all got to learn somehow. Better to get some experience on something you can replace, than on your side panel for instance. BenJ
Yep. For a first try you did pretty good. Next tme cover the area you are cutting with masking tape to protect the surface from accidental scratches. This is really important if you are cutting something you don't want to repaint. Keep up the good work. BenJ
well, from one modding noob to another, lookin pretty good. took me until the end of the third page to realize why the front panel looked so freakin familiar, i've got almost the same case, doh! anyway, like the color scheme and all that. i'm personally more of a fan of spiral wrap myself, but the rounded cables are good. anyway, for a few interesting ideas, check out my main pc sig. i kinda took a different approach with the front. btw, you have any "before" shots of the case front in its beige state before you started painting or could point some out to me? thanks.
Got to say this has come a long way and turned into a really nice case, see if you can pursued your parents to let you paint the drives, it would really finish off the look. Nice work
some more pics , its almost done , i am only waiting for my fangrill's here are the pics hope you like it The Stuff the fans in it The Back The Front pics in case the front the jungle of wires and the other pics
nice looking good but one thing and i don't mean to be an jack*** about it but maybe use smaller wire piping (the gray tubing)
It looks really good. I remember my first mod. I think I bit off more than I could chew, but it turned out ok. Anyways, what is going in the cooling PSU box? just the fans? The way I'm thinking, it's one intake, 2 exhaust, which is perfect. What about the fan on the side panel? Will that interfere with the fan on the PSU?
Eureka! You're a genius kid- you just helped me figure out how I'm going to mount the power supply in my Vapochill rig. For those not in the know- the stock Vapochill mounts the PSU over the evaporator head, which is useless if you're trying to p1mp the mad sub-zero cooling system. Thanks man!
I very much like the idea of the thick grey "conduit" going down the drive bays. What seems to be the way to go is mod the hell out of your current case until it is overmodded and crappy looking. Then buy a new case and go at it with a theme.
I wish my first mod was that good and compleat ,dam fine work for you first go So mod it to death then start again with a whole head full of ideas + experiance
