But you said you didn't have room for a full desktop?

Got a pretty penny for the laptop then. I'd choose 3 x water cooled 670s any day

Nope, never said that, I've always had room for a full desktop. I sold the desktop to buy a laptop to take with me whilst I worked away. As I now am home, I sold the laptop to go back to a desktop.

I may have put in my forsale ad, that the M18X R2 is a good desktop replacement for those limited on space and can't house a full desktop. :)

Nope, 1 delivery is due between 3-4pm and the other is when it turns up...;)

Not going to have much time tonight to get it put together as I have work at 7pm. :sigh:

Nice to see you back TG - although to be fair you never left.

Can't wait to see what those 670's can do under water. 1300Mhz should be your baseline target as I achieved that quite easily on air cooled Asus CUII models. Silicone lottery will probably be the biggest hurdle with these cards.

You can easily get at least 1250Mhz on air with the FTWs. All you need to do is set the power target to 145% which is already unlocked on the FTWs.

Oh also, enjoy the memory OCing. It's insanity.

They arrived, but I haven't got around to fitting them due to technical issues with one of the GTX 580, which has taken up all my time trying to resolve.:sigh:

    Anyway, a teaser for you...:)

I got myself some EVGA 680FTW's with EK waterblocks loving them so far. Also there are unlocked bios's which allow you to up the voltage to 1.21. My Cards love these.

I am seriously looking forward to seeing this when it's built, as it's tempting me to go 3 way sli with my 680's if I finally decide to not go Titan sli which I am still considering.

    Cool!
In a slightly un-related question. Anyone know roughly when the GTX 7xx series cards will be out? Won't they smash these GTX 600 series cards... Even if there are 3 of them!

    But amazing anyway.

Some more pics, with some benchmarks tomorrow, hopefully! :)

i have made a video of me installing a waterblock, but have yet to edit and upload it.::)

I would have had this up and running today if it wasn't for the pure fact of the srcews that came with the waterblocks were not long enough with the back plate attached, so I lost a few hours trying to source some screws long enough and of the right thread to finish off installing the waterblocks. :)

Pics were taken with my phone (Really need to get a camera!) So the lighting and image quality suck!
The Silver 1/2 tubes do look better in person than from the pics. (I think the pics make it look poo!)
    :)

Hope you guys enjoy the pics! :D

Rep. Gotta give you rep. This has given me a goal in life: to beat this bench to death with an insane sli rig :p :thumb:

And thank you again. I see waaaaay too many high end rigs with little to no cable management. Its atrocious. If you are gonna splurge at the very least make it look nice :dremel: ( didnt actually mean you tg, just all the other big bucks buyers.)
