Okay, so that's basically the death sentence for this thread. It's possible that P=NP, but somewhat unlikely. However, to disprove it and in fact prove that P != NP is pretty much equally as unlikely to be achieved by us, though many computer scientists think that it is more likely for P != NP to be true than the opposite. Also, the implications of P=NP are NP = co-NP, and P=PH which are both considered to be false. Therefore, in my opinion, it is safe to assume that P != NP, but proof I cannot provide. It would be fun - and lucrative - to be able to prove, or disprove it obviously, but regardless; you've basically put the last nail in the coffin for the thread.

Okay, that's something we can work with.

So, you claim to like peanuts. Have you ever considered why your taste buds react favorably to peanuts? And is it just peanuts in general, or is it some particular variety of the standard peanut that you claim to like - or is it, more uncommonly, perchance all the varieties available? The natural form of the peanut, Arachis hypogaea, known in the common tongue as monkey nuts, come unflavored and unroasted in semi-soft shells. Personally I find this variety rather tasteless and uninteresting - they're not particularly challenging to the palate.

Normal roasted peanuts however, are served salted or unsalted. The unsalted variety are fairly similar to the natural ones, albeit with a bit more "tange" to the taste. The salted variety are, well, salty, but apart from that are fairly similar to the natural ones.

Thus it follows that peanuts, whether natural, roasted, salted or unsalted, is a farily bland form of nut. And when compared to nuts such as hazelnuts, brazil nuts or macadamia nuts, this becomes apparent.

So, in conclusion, I posit that it is not actually the peanuts themselves you like, but rather the salt (NaCl), and this is made more likely by the fact that salt (NaCl) is a vital nutrient to the human body. Whenever the desire, or the need, for salt strikes us, we tend to go for salty foods or snacks, rather than the mineral itself, even though it is said mineral we crave.

Only humans are capable of that level of inanity (obviously reviving threads about the Relix or cheesecake is exempt from the norm of thread revival).
