    Interesting, though not-peer-reviewed, white paper from GitClear which analysed four years of data and found suggestions of "downward pressure on code quality" directly attributable to Copilot.

    Ooh, here's a bonus one: an AI-powered rhyming clock. The perfect use-case for generative AI, right? Doesn't matter if it hallucinates a rhyme, you'll get a new one in a minute!

    Except...

    A clock that, at any given time, might be lying to you about what time it is. And which consumes vast computational resources to do so. The future!

    Perhaps in the future: A clock that, when you tap it or speak to it, will display on it's screen, "Hello, what time would like it to be?"
