Ripping off the design of the Watercool blocks and the arse connectors of Bitspower blocks while charging a price that would get you both a Watercool and a Bitspower block....

£119 it works out to. Plus VAT mind. That said the EK looks like there's a lot of CNC alu on it. Still, paying that for a block that will only ever fit one card is pretty nuts.

Also what is the deal with calling it limited edition?

If they make like 50 of them that'll be like 3 per card Nvidia shipped:p

Still yet to see a Watercool block. You can pre-order one, but they've not even released a render of them.

Regardless of availability, there's a 10% performance difference between the 3080 and 3090 - what on earth is a 3080 Ti going to offer that's worth an extra £300? A 5% bump and and extra 10GB?

I'm guessing the 3080 will disappear and the Ti replaces it, with a negligible performance increase and settling in at the price nvidia wanted to charge in the first place.

Don't forget that this is the 3rd rumour of the supposed card between the 3080 and 3090.

Version 1: 3080 with double RAM glued to it.
Version 2: Core count between 3080 and 3090 plus double RAM.
Version 3: 3090 with 4 GB RAM missing.

Any one or none of the rumours could be true.

If the mining performance of the AMD card is as rumoured these updated Nvidia cards won't see light of day as the Nvidia cards will likely be the only things you can actually buy after miners snap up all the AMD hardware.

It's fine. There won't be any scalping or bots buying the cards. AMD sent a letter asking sellers to be careful. An open letter no less. :hehe:

If AMD did anything more than that then people would be accusing AMD of being controlling arseholes... lose lose situation for the manufacturers.

I don't think they could do any more realistically. They don't have their own sales portal, so if they start making demands of resellers they have nowhere to turn to if they said no. Ultimately they don't really care who buys them, a sale is a sale after all, but they have to appear to care
