I love derelict shots. I took your advice and got a 35mm film SLR (Canon EOS 1000F, it was my Grandads). Which film are you using there, and where do you get them developed?

nice, good to hear! using ilford HP5 400 was from when i was at college and the film was basically on tap for free took advantage haha :p

Also for those shots i developed them myself at college in the darkroom, but there is a place in cheltenham called "the darkroom" which develops b+w 35mm. For colour 35mm i just go to somewhere usually like asda's/boots if its cheap colour film.

But because i love film i invested in a scanner which scans 35mm so i only have to get the film processed (no prints) so it saves money.

If you are ok with using Kodak 400, it seems these days you get 2 free rolls with every roll you have processed and printed.

Net gain. Granted, it's not the fun stuff, but free is free.

I actually quite like this one. I half expect to see it with writing over it on some corporate website though.

It's the Regency Village Theater. Looks like this when in focus and a little earlier in the day:

The city is Los Angeles, CA, USA.

On the way back there was the most amazing sunset. Unfortunately I was in a coach on the M4... Still got some good looking shots though.

They could do with a bit of touching up in Ps - like removing that extra slither of sun :p
