I have lost my way and not done much photography for a long time. My D7000 and X-T1 are sadly neglected.
We are potentially going away to central Asia next year and I am wondering about going MFT to get a small and lighter setup. I did look at a Z5 in a shop but it didn't really grab me. A future Z70 would be good, none of the current DX Z cameras seem to fit the bill. Having been a Nikon user since the late 80s,this is a disappointment.
    Otherwise I have considered a Lumix GX8, GX80 or Olympus Pen F.

Oh, Travelling around Asia sounds pretty awesome. I've had the Lumix GX8, and I've had 2 Olympus OM-D E-M1's. Both solid cameras, and the lens choice is frankly... bonkers, I also know someone with a GX8 and his has an astronomical shutter count and is still going strong.

Thanks Sam, good to hear about the MFT cameras.
Someone I know has a GX8, so I need to pop over and take a look.
Were looking at Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan currently.

Oh, I would LOVE to go to Kazakhstan, and Almaty specifically, but my knowledge of Uzbekistan is a little limited.
I'm heading to France next week, A very strong chance of Iceland shortly after that, And now EasyJet fly direct to Akureyri in Iceland from Gatwick, which opens up the possibility for some Aurora, Goðafoss and Dettifoss.

Flat light, and a threat of rain, really not the best weather for photography.

Visited the "Tank Museum" (Musée des Blindés) here in France, No excuse to visit Bovington now, especially as I don't actually live that far away.

Been a while since I had the camera out in anger - but I've got the first part of a new series due for Hackster this month, so today's been all about the photography.

I like this, mate! Reminds me of that Honda ad.

Shame the frame itself isn't that slight bit wider to get the whole bike in; it's not the composition as the trees are spot on, just a shortage of frame! But it works really well:rock:

Canvas? Shutterstock or something and see if you can make a couple of quid?

Cheers matey! It was a flash in the pan photo - as soon as I heard the moped, it had pretty much disappeared! It was taken through a bus window as a bit of a test shot.
