Went for a long weekend away with some friends and went on a bit of an evening shoot, reasonably happy with this one. Whinfell Forest by jaikdean, on Flickr
Thanks all It was a 2 minute exposure, ISO 200, f/5.6. I would've liked to have spent 30 minutes or so and done some exposure stacking to get some longer star trails, but my tripod was slap bang in the middle of a road.
Nice one! Here's some more from the air show. Blue Angels knife edge pass: 'Fortus' pass, with Angels 5 and 6 in carrier landing configuration: The legendary tight diamond formation, where they maintain a 18-inch wingtip-to-canopy separation: Angels 5 and 6 streaking by overhead: (click for big)
Blue Angels Echelon Parade formation: Blue Angel 5 making a 'sneak pass', the fastest speed of the show at around 1000kmph: Opposing solos passing by each other: The lead ship pitches up from a Delta formation: Angel 2 comes in to land, show over: (click for big)
Got a redscaled film I shot at the weekend back today. I'll likely post a few more over the next couple of days Steep Descent by jaikdean, on Flickr

I shot it on redscaled Fuji Superia X-Tra 400 film. Redscaling is basically just flipping the film around so you expose the wrong side of it. Rather than describe how to reverse the film, I'll just give you this link instead, since it has pics You need to overexpose by something in the region of 2 to 4 stops to account for the light loss through the base layer, I shot this ISO 400 film at ISO 50.
Couple from Off The Wall's recent show at Bradford's St George's hall. More here: http://www.stagezero.co.uk RwD
RwD - looks like compression artifacts galore. But I like them, especially the second one. EDIT: 'Phoenix' by Alexander Liberman: Ceiling at LACMA: Mum and Dad: (click for big)
