It was only a single card, but I'm now going to keep more of a look out for them...

Also, this seems to have a better than referance cooler, which is suprisingly quiet.

The 8600GT doesn't require the power connector. The contacts are there because it's the same pcb for the 8600GTS.

I'll post some pics of my new card Monday. I'll have an Asus EN8800GT, picked the one with the blue pcb and copper cooler. Haven't seen very good pics of it doing a search.

    Here are my babies :D
    [IMG]

Started out as a pair of BFG 8800 GTX OC cards; added the DangerDen waterblocks and flashed them to 650/2000 (speeds of the BFG 8800 GTX OC WCE). I'll probably be overclocking them some more and flashing them to the top stable settings.

Well TBH, the blocks were sponsored by DangerDen and the 8800s were about the least expensive GTXs I could find ($485 AR)

If it hadn't been for the generosity of my sponsors I would never have been able to afford such a nice rig for my custom case.

    Asus EN8800GT.

The cooler is a monster. I'm sure it works well, but the temperature sensor seems to be broke on this card. It reads zero in nTune and Rivatuner. Seems to be a known issue with these cards. Shame on Asus.:eyebrow: It works fine, 700/1050 is no problem. Haven't tried any higher and doubt I will. It games wonderfully.

Copying the image as it's the same card as mine.
I do however have mine running at stock speeds until I can figure out a way to monitor the temps easily...

My recent 8800GT (and X800XL which I already showed in this thread a couple of years ago when I just got it!).

This is my old 9500 Pro, which I sold a couple of years ago now:
