    Today started spraying the boults..

And put the rest in varnisch.

And got a little visitor , look on top front plate between the holes.

    A ………..FLY

Then there is only one thing to do , start over again.

Then continue on the front , prepare the holes for the reservoir.

Once one is on it's place , do the rest with the drill

    The holes fit.

    Musketeer also going in.

Because we couldn't wait to see how it looks , we where to fast with building it up again , and we damaged the paintjob on the top front piece.
    So lets start over tomorrow.

    .
Because the opening between the plexi and metal is big , we decided to also spray the cover of the Musketeer and dvdrom , for details :p
We have 2 weeks more time left now , so why not use them. :)

Very nice. :) What sprays did you use exactly (brand and type) ? I'm trying to get a metallic blue/gray in high gloss, but with clear varnish it's only becoming semi gloss...

great update man but is it me or the space between the upper part and the dvd stealth
isn't equal to the lower and dvd stealth ?
    BTW great paint job.
    keep up the good work.

The space is not the same but it is only sit for the show. When we are ready the space is the same.

I know why it's not glossy.. I sprayed it on a Motip High Heat black paint layer, not on a basecoat of normal primer. I did that because I wanted to try out the paint first, and I only had a piece of aluminium lying around which already had black paint applied. I'll try it again on a fresh piece of aluminium, and using primer this time

Oh and by the way, are you going to change the name of the mod to something more original ?

I think that this mod is in itself a good reason to buy a CM Stacker :) If I'm gonna buy one, I doubt I will not mod it though.

Instead of working on the led's i cleaned the moddingplace.

After that i sprayed the last parts in varnish , so they can dry out the whole night.

And sprayed the rest of them blue, tomorrow the varnish.

Today let's work on the front for a change :p.
First polish the front , you can buy great stuff for it:)
    Click

    First nr 3.

    Then nr 2.

And the clean with nr 1.

The polished part will shine like this.

You already did see 2 of them (Led's) First drill holes , We use a piece of wood so the plexi won;t break.:)

    Here will come 10 led's.

So , they are on their place , only push them in a little deeper.

    Then let;s solder them.

    What a wiremess :(

This looks better , after all they will be visible ( Partly )

And now first coffee , see ya guys later.

And build the front in again.

Then offcourse we want to know if the first 2 led's work , there are at a difficult place.

Then put the metal front in place to see the effect.

This is the space between plexi and metal plate.

    1 side left.

    Straigth into the lens.

Another one with metal front inplace.

Eat some for now , see ya later.

All the led's work now. :)

    First plate in place..

This way all the wires will be out of sight.

Me polishing the plexi what will go under the radgrill.

If there was any doubt of the spaces between the metal plates .... Now they should be gone :p

From this , we where stunned ourselves :)

Also the inside looks more as one now.

    Till tomorrow.
