Whatta... That's a lot of leftovers from the fireworks! Damn one could swim in that pile.

Looking forward to the tri-SLI-setup.. That'll be crazy! Normally I don't like watercooling that muc, but on three high-end GFX cards it starts to sound pretty tempting.

I am assuming that the water cooling will only take up one slot per card so that there is room for other cards (raid, sound, etc)

There are thinner blocks available. The EKs can be made full single slot by countersinking the Delrin tops.

I think all of the Alphacool blocks are single slot.

Ediejo, are those 8800's or something else?

Ediejo, you can order single slot rear PCI covers directly from Danger Den if you wanted to put another card in there..

Judging by there being three of them, I'd say they are Ultras.

EDIT: nvrmind, I thought only Ultras were 3-way sli capable, but it seems GTX's are as well.

Yes there are single slot coolers, such as the ek waterblocks (at least i think they are single). They look great also. The back plate can be replaced with a single slot one to give access to the pci slots.

Great project! :dremel: If those are really 9xxx cards, they don't look very different from the 88xx series.

They are 8800s. I wish we could know what the 9xxx looked like!

All the photos from the graphic cards are 8800 cards. It’s only to see what space it takes. When you put three of them in your system. The release from the 9600Gt is in February 2008. Later there will be the 9800GTX. I think that’s will be Cebit 2008. Update will come this weekend.

yeah i agree, you're going to loose descent sound and you're going to have to run with how ever many disks the mobo can take along with onboard raid etc... too limiting for my linking

Unless you've got an Asus R.O.G. board, their Supreme FX cards are pretty good.
