hehe yeah those edges are quite sharp :p I'm sanding them now, so they will only look sharp, not acutally be sharp ;)

I am going to etch the plexi in top, but not in the side :)

unfortunately I don't have a laser, but i tink my dremel will do ;) I'm just going to use regular clear plexi and then eluminate it (the top plexi) with green ledsfrom the side. That way the etch will glow while the rest stays the same (at least that's what I'm hoping for :D

The reason I'm goiung to use only regular clear plexi on the side, without any etches, is that I want the inside (the funky green-glowing water pipes) to be the attraction. In the top, on the other hand, the etch is the primary attraction :baby:

Please excuse my spelling mistakes

Looking good there m8. Tell me if you find a place that sell "modder's" mesh.

Starting to cut myself, but with a battery powered dremel, it's not that fast. :wallbash:

hehe i know... those cordless dremels suck.. :dremel: (well I have never tried one but all the norwegian forums advise you to buy one with a cord, because of that reason).

Good luck mate :) And take your time! it will pay off, I promise you!

Good job, it's a waste of a nice aquatube though. You thought about mounting it on top of the case?

I try and stread out my purchases over a few days, and never look at the bottom line as to how much I spent....

That would be likely considered a "coping mechanism" but it is how I can keep my head on this!

I dunno, but his new specialyty are top windows in green UV plexy (different shapes and sizes)

I can get in contact with him and give you some prices if you want.
You can give him ANY pic you want and he will etche it.

    Cheers,
    Mike

    Love the cut mate!
Is the door still solid, or does it bend easily?
I would be worried about like braking the thing edge off if I had a cut like that :x

Mod on dude, can't wait to see how the top etch turns out. I'm planning some etching myself and I am really interested in seeing some good custom etches :)
